Day Eleven: Wednesday 6th January

Wednesday saw us in Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda. The boat sailed to a beach with a black, shadowy reef and we snorkelled around and soaked up the sun while eating tasty pizzas (lunch was served on the beach). We saw some strange camouflaged fish, a small octopus, and collected a conch shell and some other assorted small shells to take home. The boat then stopped over in Spanish Town but we didn’t go ashore, as Sam was not feeling too well (pregnancy reasons, and the fact that she’d been sick when we’d had a slightly choppy sea while sailing earlier in the day). Dinner, served again on deck, consisted of two chicken dishes (one spicy, one sweet) with pasta, and was very enjoyable.
